Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Last updated: [DATE]
Draft for review. This page is a business-website draft prepared for Delightie Crochet, not legal advice. Please review, complete the bracketed placeholders, and consider having it checked before publishing.
Private lessons are reserved specifically for you, so a little notice helps keep things fair for everyone. Here's how rescheduling and cancellations work at Delightie Crochet.
1. Rescheduling (24 hours' notice)
- You can reschedule any lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time.
- Rescheduling can be done through the link in your booking confirmation email, or by contacting me directly (see section 8).
- Rescheduled lessons should normally be booked within [60] days of the original date, subject to availability.
2. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice)
- Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours' notice are considered late.
- Late cancellations may not be eligible for rescheduling and the lesson fee may be forfeited.
- As a courtesy, I may offer one late reschedule per student at my discretion, depending on the circumstances.
3. No-shows
- If you do not join the video call within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and have not contacted me, the lesson is treated as a no-show.
- No-show lessons are not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
- If you join late, the lesson still ends at the scheduled time so that other students are not affected.
4. Multi-lesson programs
- Each lesson in a program (for example Crochet Starter or Amigurumi Beginner) is subject to the same 24-hour rescheduling rule.
- Program lessons should be completed within [90] days of the first lesson unless otherwise agreed.
5. Refunds
- Because lesson availability is reserved specifically for you, lesson purchases are generally non-refundable once booked.
- If you have not yet booked a lesson time and change your mind within [7] days of purchase, contact me and I'll arrange a refund minus any non-recoverable payment-processing fees.
- For multi-lesson programs, unused lessons may be refundable on a pro-rata basis at my discretion if the request is made before the second lesson.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
6. If I need to cancel or reschedule
- Occasionally illness or an emergency means I need to move a lesson. If that happens, I'll let you know as early as possible and offer a new time or, if you prefer, a full refund for that lesson.
7. Technical difficulties
- Please test your camera, microphone and internet connection before the lesson.
- If technical problems on my side prevent the lesson from taking place, it will be rescheduled at no charge.
- If technical problems on your side interrupt the lesson, we'll do our best to continue (for example by phone or by switching devices). If more than [20] minutes are lost, I'll offer a reasonable make-up time where possible.
8. Circumstances outside your control
- Sudden illness, family emergencies, power outages and similar situations happen. If something outside your control means you miss a lesson, please let me know as soon as you can — I will always try to find a fair solution, which may include a one-time exception to the notice period.
9. How to contact me
- Email: delightieco@gmail.com

This policy applies to online lessons purchased through this website. In-person workshops may have their own cancellation terms, stated on the workshop listing.
